Dr. Roger J. Kaneshiro

Orthodontist

Dr. Roger Kaneshiro is a Guam native, who has been creating smiles for his community for over 30 years. Roger’s passion and dedication to help others stems from his humbled beginnings, growing up with limited financial resources and opportunities. After attending the University of Guam, he transferred to the University of Southern California on academic merit. Roger’s love for dentistry led him to Marquette University where he obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree, and then on to the University of Buffalo, where he specialized in orthodontics.

Roger returned home to give back to the community that supported him along his journey. Throughout his illustrious career, Roger has helped individuals of all malocclusions and craniofacial complexities, especially those impacted by cleft lip and palate, severe underbite, and severe crowding. In addition, he has served as a board member for the Guam Dental Society, has provided access to healthcare for the underserved through the Todu Guam Foundation, and has been actively serving in the Guam Army National Guard for over 25 years. Moreover, he maintains national memberships in the American Association of Orthodontists, Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists, and the American Dental Association.

When he is not transforming smiles, Dr. Kaneshiro enjoys deep sea fishing, hiking, beekeeping, and farming. He is also a father to two children, two dogs, and four indoor cats.
